Entry Requirements

What are the requirements?

Most of our horticulture courses have no formal entry requirements. You don’t need previous gardening experience – just an interest in plants and being outdoors.

Please check individual course pages for specific requirements and the most up-to-date information.

What do I need?

You’ll need a basic level of English so you can follow instructions and stay safe when using tools and equipment, but your tutor will support you with any reading or writing needed.

For accredited courses, there may be specific entry criteria, which we’ll explain before you enrol.
