Entry Requirements:
Learners should be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English at Level 1 and above. Learners will also need a good level of IT skills access to a computer, laptop or tablet device with access to the internet. Learners do not need, but may find helpful, Level 1 qualification in the business administration and law sector.

Course Overview
This course is aimed at people who want to develop their knowledge, skills and understanding of team leading. This can support them to progress onto other qualifications, employment or apprenticeships in any sector. It is a great professional development.
You are able to learn at your own pace yet have the support from qualified teachers.
What will I learn?
You will learn –
Principles of Team Leading, this includes characteristics of a team leader
Understand Business this includes business environment
Understand how to communicate work- related information-this includes how to prepare for meetings
There will also be additional units which will be included to further support the industry and learner needs.
How is the course delivered?
You will be learning online at your own pace via our awarding winning e-learning platform. You set the pace of your own learning and you will have access to our professional accredited teachers also.
You will be given access to a comprehensive online learning platform which will provide them with detailed knowledge and information to support their successful completion of each unit.
Further self-directed research is encouraged to expand learner’s understanding of key topics.
How will my learning be assessed?
During the course our teachers will be marking and assessing your work as well as giving you positive and developmental feedback to ensure you are making the uppermost progress. You can also request to speak to one of our teachers to check your progress.
Clear deadlines will be provided for each unit to ensure the qualification is completed within the set time frame.
Completion and progress on each unit is clearly identified on the learner’s online dashboard.
Learners will receive regular written feedback throughout the course including opportunities for further development.
Additional Information
You will be expected to complete a series of online assignments which will be set by our teachers. These will be in units to allow you to work through each one in a streamline manner.
You will be completing work in relation to each unit, which a range of activities and questioning to allow you to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding. You will complete this online using the online platform.
The Additional Learning Support Team work across college supporting students with a variety of learning needs in different ways. Support can be requested at enrolment or at any point throughout your course.
