Course Overview
Build a solid foundation for a rewarding career in construction with our Construction Multiskills course. This hands-on program is designed to introduce you to essential skills across a variety of trade areas. Perfect for you if you’re startingstarting your journey.
What will I learn?
During the course, you’ll get the chance to try your hand at a variety of trades, including: • Carpentry: Learn the fundamentals of working with wood • Brickwork: Get to grips with the essentials of laying bricks, building walls and understanding the basics of construction techniques. • Painting and Decorating: Discover how to prepare surfaces, apply paint and add decorative touches to bring spaces to life.
How is the course delivered?
Most of the learning will take place in the practical workshop environment developing your practical skills. You will produce a short portfolio of work in order to achieve your qualification.
How will my learning be assessed?
You will be given regular feedback on your performance from our highly skilled and experienced staff.
Additional Information
You will require safety boots that can be purchased from the college.
