Take your first step towards your future today with an Access to Higher Education (HE) course at Lancashire Adult Learning.
Our Access to HE Diplomas are designed specifically for adults who want to progress to university but may not have traditional qualifications such as A Levels. These Level 3 qualifications offer a supportive and flexible route to higher education, helping you gain the knowledge, confidence and academic skills you need to succeed at degree level.
Whether you’re looking to start a new career or advance within your current field, our courses in Business, Law, Social Science, Nursing and Midwifery, Allied Health Professions and Education and Computing provide the perfect foundation. Taught by experienced tutors who understand the needs of adult learners, our Access to HE programmes equip you with the skills and experience needed to move forward in your chosen pathway.
If there aren’t any course listings shown for the course you’re interested in, please register your interest using the form below and a member of our team will get back to you shortly.
Applicants should have GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 (C) or above, or Level 2 Functional Skills in these subjects.
If you do not yet meet these requirements, some subjects offer a Pre-Access course, which typically requires GCSE English and Maths at grade 3 (D) or above, or Level 1.
Please note that Pre-Access courses are not available for all subjects.
You could go into any number of careers afterwards. Take a look at our Personal Learning subject areas and Adult Apprenticeships we offer.
